Camping at Cable Cove!
We had a lot of fun camping at Cable Cove this year. The weather was hot, but going to Cheoah Point to swim everyday made it bearable. We did get a little rain the last day, but other than that, it was great! We made several trips to "sliding rock". It's on the nature trail at camp. We used to have so much fun as kids, sliding down it into the icy water with our cousins, so I'm hoping our kids will have the same great memories of spending time there with their cousins! Avery and Sage got in a yellow jacket's nest our first trip up the trail, but they were brave enough to try again! We also stopped to visit with Granny and Uncle David several times. Bryson wasn't too sure about Charlie, though! He didn't know what to think about a dog bigger than him!! The boys are already excited for next year's trip. Riley's favorite part was: "playing checkers in the camper during the rain", Avery's: "swimming at Cheoah Point" and Bryson's: "playing in the lake". Bryson started swimming pretty well in the lake!! We have another little water bug!
