Rock On!

The boys have been keeping our gameroom rockin' since Christmas! They love playing Rock Band and I love that they stay downstairs a LOT:)

Christmas with the Kiddies

The boys made gingerbread cookies for Santa on Christmas Eve. Jeremy was pretty sure that Santa preferred chocolate chip, so we made a batch of those, too! Christmas morning they were SO excited! I wouldn't care if I got a single gift. Just seeing their faces is enough for me.

Family Parties

We had my Mom's family party on the 23rd and Jeremy's mom's party on the 24th. You can see the size difference in the pics. I had to take 3 pics to get my family in! And all of them weren't there!!!!

Angel on Earth

Bryson is such a little sweetheart. I wish I could keep him little, home with me, forever. He has grown so much since he turned four. It makes me proud, but hurts a little, too! He LOVES to sing. He surprised us Sunday by singing this song to us. He told us he learned it from Sister Griffith in Primary! I guess that even when we think they aren't paying attention, they really are learning!

MUTE MY PLAYLIST AT THE BOTTOM SO YOU CAN HEAR THE VIDEOS!!

Santa Claus is Coming to Town!!

We made our trip to visit Santa at the mall yesterday. Bryson decided last minute that Santa's lap wasn't a place he cared to be, so Avery told him what Bryson wanted!
Ry wants paintball gear, Avery wants a bike & BB Gun, and Bryson wants a bike,Diego toys and flashlights!

Bryson's Preschool Christmas Program

Bryson is our little singer! He and Avery both love to sing loud! He was on the front row and we could hear him over everyone else!

Cosby Christmas Party

I haven't posted in quite a while, so I'm going to try to catch up!
On the 12th, we went to Jeremy's family Christmas party (his Dad's side). It's a bit of the shock for the boys to only have one other kid to play with, but they love to see their cousin Trajen. They never have a boy cousin to play with, so it's a treat!!

My reason for doing laundry...

I have to keep the laundry caught up around here. If the hampers were full, Bryson would have no where to sit while watching Spongebob!

Candle Light Dinner

The boys LOVE to have candle light dinners!

We all Love a Parade!

We took all the kids to a parade on Saturday. All 8 of them! We parked the car by the train tracks and the boys were so excited when one came by. We brought lots of hot chocolate (it was 37 degrees!) and Papaw bought a pizza from the pizza place across the street from where we were sitting. The sirens of the fire trucks and police cars were a bit too loud for me, but the kids loved it!! The kids nearly mugged the kids beside us for the candy that was tossed off of the floats! You don't come between one of my kids and a pack of m&m's!! It was a lot of fun and we're looking forward to next year!!

Paintball for Dummies...

Can someone please explain the logic of this to me? Why would anyone with any sense at all, go out into a field and tell another person to shoot at them? Here's an even better question: Why do I as a mother, allow my eight-year-old son to do this? Answer: Because he wants to be just like his daddy. They have so much fun. Riley took a shot to the hand and didn't shed a tear. He can't wait to play again!

Bad Breath and Dinosaurs

I've started (again) on my calorie counting kick. Right before we left to go get "the Brothers" at school today, I choked down a not so tastey peanut chocolate 100 calorie bar. While sitting in car riders, Bryson asked if I had any gum. I told him I'd check. He said, "Do you want some Mommy?" "No thanks", I replied. "Me, either", he said. When the boys started to line up to come out to the car, I turned and told Bryson to get in his seat and buckle up. He jumped in his seat and yelled, "Mommy PLEASE! Eat some gum! Your breath is nasty!"

After we got home, he was looking at Avery's dinosaur library book. He brought it to me and showed me a picture of a Brachiosaurus. He pointed to it's VERY long neck and in all seriousness asked, "Mommy, how'd you like to throw up with that neck?"

Everyday an adventure...

Beds, beds, everywhere and not a place to sleep!

This is so pathetic. My kids have two sets of bunk beds, a queen size bed and a toddler bed in their bedrooms. Room for 7 children. (It's obvious that we only have three.) But that is not the pathetic part. Where do my children choose to sleep? On the floor. In the smallest of the bedrooms. Night after night, they beg to sleep together on the floor. I would've loved to have had my own bed as a kid, let alone two beds of my own! Maybe I should sell the beds and buy some really comfy sleeping bags!
