R & R

We took a much need break over the Fourth! We ran away from the house of horrors to Kure Beach. If you've never been, GO! It's a great family beach. We walked to get ice cream at the Tastee Freeze a couple of times ( I highly recommend Death By Chocolate in a waffle cone), and even in the dark, families are out walking, riding bikes...Barely any traffic on the back streets. Great place to visit! The boys had so much fun with their Daddy in the water. They managed to beg me enough to get a little wet, but Mama don't like swimming with the sharks! I try to avoid swimmin' holes tht don't require chlorine and a pool boy! Anyway, now it's back to reality. The kitchen is pretty much back to normal. I got another dishwasher and Jeremy has most of the floor fixed. Our van radiator sprung a leak about 5 minutes into our drive home, but with a lot of prayer and a couple jugs of water from a ghetto Food Lion (so afraid we'd get stranded there!!), we made it home safely!
