Over the River and Through the Woods...

We made the LONG trip up to the mountains to vist my Granny in the hospital a couple of weeks ago. The kids LOVE going to see GUD-Great Uncle David. He is the uncle that every kid would love to have. He's always up for a walk in the woods, snake hunt, etc. And he certainly doesn't care if you run wild in the hospital and play on the rehabilitaion patients workout staircase or use the patient's lift chair like a theme park ride! We finally left the hospital when the nurses told the kids to stay out of the rooms!!! The highliht of my boys trip was the two-seater gocart that Uncle David brought to them. They were in complete shock, but once that wore off, complete glee set in!
