Ry's field trip

I went with Riley's class to Latta Plantation in Huntersville on Friday. I really enjoyed it! The house was built in 1800 on 742 acres. We saw slave cabins and the old plantation house (not quite "Tara" from Gone With the Wind", but still...). Riley liked the honey tasting and seeing the beekeeper get stung! He got to make a beeswax candle. I liked the old kitchen!
